Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Spardha AI (“Spardha AI”, “we”, “us”), the website and app at spardhaai.in, operated by Tushar, an individual based in Sangamner, Ahmednagar, Maharashtra, India. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

1. What Spardha AI is

Spardha AI is a Marathi-first, AI-powered exam preparation tool for MPSC, Police Bharti, Talathi, and related Maharashtra government exam aspirants. It provides an AI doubt-solver, daily quiz practice, AI-based Mains answer evaluation, an exam-date calendar, and community features like referrals and leaderboards.

2. Eligibility

• You must be at least 18 years old to create an account, matching the general minimum age for the government exams Spardha AI is built around.
• You must provide accurate information (a valid email, etc.) when registering and keep your account credentials confidential.
• You are responsible for all activity that happens under your account.

3. Subscription plans, pricing & auto-renewal

Spardha AI currently offers the following plans (prices and limits are shown in-app on the Subscribe page and may change with notice):

• मोफत (Free) — ₹0, forever. Limited daily quiz practice, doubt queries, and a small number of AI answer evaluations.
• साप्ताहिक (Weekly) — ₹29 per week. Unlimited MCQ practice, higher AI evaluation and doubt limits, voice input.
• Pro स्पर्धक (Pro) — ₹149 per month. All Weekly features plus photo OCR for handwritten answers and the highest usage limits.

• Paid plans automatically renew (weekly or monthly, as applicable) and are billed to the payment method used at checkout via Razorpay, until you cancel.
• You can cancel auto-renewal at any time from Settings → Subscription. Cancelling stops future charges; you keep access to your paid plan's features until the end of the period you already paid for, after which your account moves to the Free plan automatically — no further charge.

4. AI-generated content & accuracy

Quiz questions, doubt-solver answers, current-affairs content, and Mains answer evaluations (including Band scores) on Spardha AI are generated or assisted by artificial intelligence. AI can make mistakes, including factual errors, outdated information, or incomplete evaluation of an answer. We label responses as “verified” or “ai_generated” to indicate confidence, and provide a reporting feature so you can flag incorrect questions/answers, which we review.

• Band scores and evaluation feedback are indicative study guidance, not an official or guaranteed prediction of your actual exam performance.
• You are responsible for verifying important facts, syllabus content, and exam dates against official sources before relying on them.

5. Exam calendar & date accuracy

We work hard to keep the exam calendar accurate — dates are cross-checked against official notifications where available, each entry shows a “last verified” date and a link to the original source, and we run automated monitoring of MPSC's official site to catch changes quickly. However, exam bodies can change dates without notice, and we cannot guarantee the calendar is always immediately up to date. Always confirm exam dates on the official website before making irreversible decisions (e.g. travel, leave from work, hall-ticket printing).

6. Fair use & prohibited conduct

You agree not to:

• Share your account/login with others, or use another person's account.
• Attempt to bypass usage limits, rate limits, or paywalls (e.g. by creating multiple accounts to evade free-tier limits).
• Scrape, reverse-engineer, or use automated tools to extract content or data from the Service.
• Upload content that is unlawful, abusive, or infringes someone else's rights.
• Use the Service in any way that could disable, overburden, or impair it (e.g. excessive automated requests).

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, with or without notice, particularly in cases of abuse that affects the Service for other users.

7. Intellectual property

The Spardha AI name, logo, app design, and original content (excluding publicly sourced exam questions/notifications) belong to us. Quiz answers, evaluation feedback, and other content generated for your account are provided for your personal exam-preparation use only, not for commercial redistribution.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by Indian law, Spardha AI and its founder are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service, including but not limited to exam outcomes, missed deadlines due to reliance on calendar data, or errors in AI-generated content. The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, express or implied. Our total liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.

9. Termination

You may stop using the Service and request account deletion at any time (see Privacy Policy). We may suspend or terminate your access if you violate these Terms, misuse the Service, or if required by law.

10. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of India. Subject to applicable consumer-protection law giving you the right to approach your local consumer forum, the courts at Ahmednagar, Maharashtra shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any dispute arising from these Terms or the Service.

11. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms as the Service evolves. Material changes will be reflected by updating the “अद्ययावत” date above. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.
